This scarf is based on Christine Mkrtchyan’s drawing “The Return of the Gods.”
The artist explains, “The plot presents five of the main gods of ancient Armenia: Mihr, Nane, Vahe, Anahit and Astghik. And the name “return” speaks for itself. By accepting Christianity, Armenians stopped praying to them and stopped enjoying their goodwill.”
